The Cybersecurity Education and Training Assistance Program (CETAP) equips K-12 teachers with curricula and education tools to help students gain a better understanding of cybersecurity. Through CETAP, CISA supports CYBER.ORG to develop and distribute cyber, STEM, and computer science curricula to educators across the country.
CYBER.ORG’s cyber-based curricula and initiatives provide opportunities for students to increase their awareness of cyber issues, engage in cybersecurity education, and ultimately become a cybersecurity professional. These programs focus on growing and educating the next generation cyber-literate workforce by empowering K-12 educators with curricula, professional development workshops, and cybersecurity career awareness resources.

Initiatives like Project Access, Project REACH and the K-12 Cybersecurity Learning Standards work towards increasing equity and educator support in K-12 cybersecurity settings. Check out CYBER.ORG’s current initiatives.
In addition to curricula for K-12 educators, CYBER.ORG offers resources for out-of-the-classroom settings. Cyber safety videos, hands-on activities, and cyber career awareness materials are available for students, parents, educators, and activity leaders looking to enhance students’ awareness and understanding of cybersecurity topics.
CISA also offers cybersecurity career awareness resources including tip cards, fun educational posters, and informational one-pagers to share with students in the classroom, during extracurricular activities, and at home.
